Our vision is to change and automate the way cash is managed, moving from a centralised model to a distributed model. Distributed cash processing allows banks and retailers to process their cash very quickly and effectively at branch/store level, rather than relying solely on the cash centre, with very significant reduction in CIT costs, and improved teller time efficiency, and security.
Designing state-of-the-art Teller Cash Recyclers and banknote validation technology is the primary focus of CTS Cashpro, with a strong emphasis on in-house technology development, ease-of-use and serviceability.

1996 CTS Cashpro is created as an independent company within CTS Electronics. The company's goal is to enter the "Teller Cash Recycler" market with its own banknote validation technology.
1997 Partnership with Getronics and Wincor Nixdorf
1998 More than 500 installations already live in Europe, mainly in Germany and Spain, where the open-plan branch concept is gaining popularity
2000 Introduction of the magnetic sensor as further authentication feature
2002 Euro change-over
